Feeling Burned - Bernie wins big....maybe not

Bernie had a pretty good night n New Hampshire — he received 147,523 votes (60%) to Hillary’s 93,594 (38%).  New Hampshire has 32 delegates — problem for Bernie is, only 24 of those are “pledged” meaning they are allotted by  the popular vote.  The remaining 8 delegates are “super-delegates” that are party officials who can commit to whomever they like...and Hillary has 6 of the 8 super-delegates committed to her (the other two are uncommitted at this time).   So Bernie received 15 delegates and Hillary 15 delegates — two are uncommitted.

You can see all the details here.

Seems that as Bernie has been out campaigning — Hillary has be securing super-delegates.  Currently, both pledged and super-delegates — the count is:

Sanders — 32

Clinton — 394

You can read about those details here.

This isn’t Mrs. Clinton’s first time at the dance — she knows how to play this game and now she’s heading into some primaries where she is heavily favored.

Mr. Sanders and his campaign are showing their lack of planning and understanding of how the process really works — he’s working hard but is he working smart?

Congratulations Bernie and your supporters for a nice victory — unfortunately you will walk away tied with 2 undecided.
